Bellefontaine Police is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Applicants must first take an online test by visiting the National Testing Network website and finding the Bellefontaine Police Department listing. From there, applicants will be prompted to take our test online and provided information on how to forward your test scores to us when completed. Then, each applicant will receive notice from our agency as to when our next physical agility test will be held. You must first pass the written test on the NTN site. Those who successfully pass the written test and the physical agility test will move on to the remaining steps in our process. Ultimately, a certified list of candidates will be formed to hire from. As vacancies arise, hiring will commence from that pool of candidates.
If you have questions, please contact Lieutenant Scott Marlow by calling (937) 599-1010 or at email@example.com.
The Bellefontaine Police Department is pleased to announce our next round of testing for the position of Police Officer.
In order to be eligible to proceed in our process, you must first take the online exam through the National Testing Network. This online registration process is managed by NTN itself, and not managed by the City of Bellefontaine. Each candidate must register themselves on the NTN website at the Bellefontaine Police Department location on their site. After you have successfully passed the written online exam, you must be sure to follow their process to send us your scores. Then, you must have also completed our application. Applications and NTN tests must be completed and returned to the Bellefontaine Police Department by Friday, May 27, 2022 at 4:00 PM to be eligible. Applications are available online here, or by stopping by our agency at 135 North Detroit Street, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. We can also send you an electronic version upon an email request. Applications may be notarized by our agency, upon request while you’re in-person.
Those who successfully apply and successfully pass the NTN test will participate in the physical agility testing. Two practices will be available on June 3 and June 8. The actual test is Friday, June 10, 2022 at 12:00 PM, at the Logan County Fairgrounds.
If you have any questions about our process, please contact Lieutenant Scott Marlow at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (937) 599-1010.
