The Bellefontaine Civil Service Commission has announced a new Civil Service Exam for the position of Police Officer with the City of Bellefontaine. Applications are now available in the Mayor's Office, or by clicking the link below, and must be returned by Friday, May 17, 2019 by 4:30 PM. The Mayor's Office is located in the City Building at 135 North Detroit Street, Bellefontaine. Exam is set for Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.
Currently, the Bellefontaine Police Department is expecting to hire one to two officers from this new test, which should fulfill the remainder of this year and most of 2020 as vacancies occur.
