Jenna James, Council At Large
The City Republican Central Committee selected Bellefontaine resident Jenna James to fill the at-large city council seat on January 24, 2020.
James grew up in Logan County and graduated from Indian Lake High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Franklin University in Columbus. James and her husband, Patrick, own a residential real estate business, P. Allan Properties, with 52 residential rental units. The couple moved out of town for about 12 years while he served as an active duty United States Air Force pilot. They came back here to settle down and raise their five kids in Logan County near family. |
She says they are thrilled to be in such a thriving community, "I’ve been interested in local government for a while now, but it wasn’t much of an option when we were bouncing around to different military bases and only stationed places for an average of 2 years at a time. I’m excited to work hard at keeping Bellefontaine such a great place to live and work!"
In addition, James says they are looking to grow their rental business significantly to help provide more housing in Bellefontaine. James handles the accounting for the business and manages two full-time employees who do leasing and maintenance. She also manages the office at Midwest Corporate Air at the Bellefontaine Regional Airport.
