Due to the extreme heat conditions forecasted for this week – Republic Services will begin refuse and recycling collection one hour earlier. Please have your containers at the curb before 5:30 am on your collection day.
We have been advised that Republic Services will not be picking up refuse and recycling Wednesday, January 25th in the City of Bellefontaine due to weather conditions. Those customers who have Wednesday – Friday collection will receive service one day later as they will also run on Saturday.
Due to the weather that’s coming in, Republic Services will be closed Thursday Feb. 3rd. 2022. We will update on delays and closings on a day-by-day basis, depending on the weather and road conditions. Thank you and be safe.
THURSDAY EVENING UPDATE: Republic Services will be closed Friday. They will work on Friday's routes on Saturday. Unfortunately, Thursday's route will have to be picked up on their normal day next week. There will be regular collection on Thursday, 12/24/2020 (Christmas Eve).
Friday’s collection that falls on Christmas day will be picked up on Saturday, 12/26/2020. Regular collection on Thursday, 12/31/2020 (New Year’s Eve). Friday’s collection that fall on New Year’s Day will be picked up on Saturday, 1/2/2021. Regular collection for the pickup routes on Monday through Wednesday. The Thursday and Friday routes will be delayed by one day. Thursday customers will be picked up on Friday and Friday customers will be picked up on Saturday.
The City of Bellefontaine will resume bulky item refuse pickups on June 1st, 2020. The service will be provided on a limited basis of 8 residences per day, 2 days per week.
Service must be scheduled and paid for in advance by calling 937-592-3561. Service is on a first come, first served basis. The cost for this service is $15 for each large item and $7.50 per small item.
