Our team was asked to help build outdoor furniture and assist with a walking path. Not only did we complete those tasks — we also took the initiative to tackle a few extra projects that were noticed along the way. 🛠️🌿

Boil Water Advisory
A boil water advisory is in effect for the following addresses on South Main Street:

• 1780
• 1810
• 1820
• 1830
• 1840
• 1933
Customers at these locations are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, and oral hygiene until further notice.
The right southbound lane in the 1700 block of South Main Street is temporarily closed due to a water main repair. Please exercise caution when traveling through this area and consider using alternate route
🌿 Troy Road Compost Site Guidelines 🌿
The Troy Road Compost Site is a great resource available to Bellefontaine residents ONLY for dropping off yard waste such as grass clippings, leaves, and small branches.
To help keep the site clean, safe, and running smoothly, please remember:
✅ The site is for City of Bellefontaine residents only
🚫 Contractors and non-residents are not permitted
🚫 No trash bags, lawn bags, or containers — all yard waste must be dumped loose
🚫 Commercial debris or large-scale dumping is not allowed
📌 Common prohibited items found at the site include:
• Trash
• Concrete
• Lumber
• Household debris
• Trees & tree stumps

We’ve received an increasing number of messages lately about overgrown grass, weeds, and vegetation in the tree lawn areas (the grass strip between the sidewalk and the street — also called boulevards).
Just a friendly reminder that it is the responsibility of the adjacent property owner to maintain these areas.
We know life gets busy, but a little upkeep goes a long way in keeping our neighborhoods looking great!
Taking care of your tree lawn not only helps with curb appeal — it keeps our city safe, clean, and inviting for everyone.

Residents at these locations are advised to boil all water intended for consumption until further notice.
The 300 block of E. Brown Ave. is now open to traffic.
The 300 block of E. Brown Ave. between Park St. and Green St. will be closed for a water line repair today, The road is expected to reopen by the end of business today.
