CPA class 13 are in week 6. The class was with Detective Salyer, Peterson, and surprise guest retired Detective Blake Kenner. The class processed a mock crime scene and discussed investigations.





Customers on Summit Drive may experience a brief period of water loss throughout the day as Levans Excavating is working on connecting water service lines to the new water main that has been installed.
No boil advisory is necessary for the customers on Summit Drive.


The water main, on Lake Ave., has been repaired. Businesses and buildings with sprinkler systems can go back to your normal procedures.


Lake Avenue between S. Main and Harding is now back open.

Partial Street Closure Notice
The City of Bellefontaine Water Department is actively addressing the water main break on Lake Avenue. To facilitate ongoing repairs, a section of Lake Avenue will be closed from Erie Street to Greenwood Street.

The city of Bellefontaine Water Department is working on a water main break that is affecting city-wide water pressure. If you are a business or other public building with a sprinkler system, your system's ability to adequately function may be hindered. We are asking that you implement your fire watch protocols. If you have questions regarding your sprinkler system or firewatch procedures, please call the Bellefontaine Fire Department at 937-599-6168.


Water Main Break on Lake Ave next to TP Lanes. Boil Advisory will be announced soon. If you have low water pressure or no water please take precautions and boil water for 5 min prior to using.

Attention all Logan County residents:
Please be advised the routine testing of the countywide tornado siren that normally occurs every Friday at noon has been cancelled for Friday, March 14, 2025.
Testing will resume on Friday, March 21st.

The East bound lane in the 500 block of East Sandusky is back open.

The east bound lane in the 500 block of East Sandusky Ave. will be temporarily shifted to the turn lane this morning.
The Bellefontaine Water Department will reopen the lane later today once water line repairs have been made.
Please use caution in this work zone and avoid this area if possible.


Cantwell Ave. is now open to traffic.
The Bellefontaine Water Department was able to make repairs to the water main without needing to issue a boil water advisory.
At this time no boil water advisories are in effect for the City of Bellefontaine


Cantwell Ave. between S. Main and S. Madriver St. will be closed today, 3/4/2025 @ 8:30 AM until further notice for a water main break repair.
