⚠️ SEVERE WEATHER ALERT – CITY OF BELLEFONTAINE ⚠️
The National Weather Service has placed our area under a Level 2–3 severe weather risk for today.
Severe storms are possible from late afternoon into the early evening hours and continuing overnight across the area.
Primary threats include:
💨 Damaging wind gusts (main concern)
🌪️ Isolated tornadoes
🧊 Large hail
🌧️ Heavy rainfall with localized flooding
Residents are encouraged to stay prepared and remain weather-aware throughout the afternoon and evening. Please make sure you have multiple ways to receive weather alerts and warnings, especially overnight when storms may occur while you are sleeping.
