BOIL ADVISORY LIFTED May 14, 2026 The City of Bellefontaine Water Department has lifted the boil advisory for the following areas after water samples confirmed the water is safe for consumption: • 547 E. Columbus Ave. • 601 E. Columbus Ave. through 705 E. Columbus Ave. • 113 N. Hayes St. through 236 N. Hayes St. • 546, 550, and 554 E. Sandusky Ave. Residents in the affected area may now resume normal water use. As a precautionary measure, customers are encouraged to: • Run cold water faucets for several minutes to flush household plumbing • Empty and discard ice made during the advisory period • Flush refrigerator water lines and replace water filters if applicable • Run dishwashers and washing machines through one cycle before normal use The City of Bellefontaine Water Department appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation during this advisory.
