❄️ Help Keep Our Community Safe This Winter! ❄️
Snow Season has begun and our City snow plow crews are working hard to keep roads clear and safe. You can help them — and your neighbors — by doing the following:
Help the Snow Plows
• Keep vehicles, garbage bins, and other obstacles off the street when snow is expected.
• Avoid pushing snow back into the roadway after clearing your driveway and sidewalks.
• Give plows plenty of space to work and do not attempt to pass a working plow.
Keep Sidewalks Clear & Safe
It is the responsibility of property owners to keep sidewalks safe and passable. Clear snow and ice promptly to help:
• Kids walking to and from school
• Neighbors with mobility challenges
• Anyone who relies on sidewalks for daily travel
A well-cleared sidewalk can make all the difference!
And don’t forget to “walk like a penguin” on icy surfaces — take short, shuffling steps to help prevent slips and falls.
