REHABILITATE AIRFIELD LIGHTING

Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and then publicly opened and read at the City of Bellefontaine, City Building, 135 N Detroit St., Bellefontaine, OH 43311, in Council Chambers on the 2nd floor, Attn: Service-Safety Director, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete the Rehabilitate Airfield Lighting project.
Copies of the bid documents including project drawings and technical specifications are on file and may be inspected at CHA Consulting, Inc, 471 East Broad Street, Suite 2010, Columbus, OH 43215. To obtain an electronic set of the bid documents, a formal request must be made, via email only, to Mr. Brian Kotter at bkotter@chasolutions.com.
Each bid must be accompanied by a “Bid Guaranty” and “Contract Bond” meeting requirements of Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Bellefontaine Regional Airport, 3100
OH-47, Bellefontaine, OH 43311, at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Bids may be held by the City of Bellefontaine for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
The right is reserved, as City of Bellefontaine may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor.
Award of contract is subject to the Federal Aviation Administration Contract Provision Guidelines for Obligated Sponsors and Airport Improvement Program Projects issued December 29, 2025.
