PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Bellefontaine City Council on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 7:15 pm in Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Municipal Building, 135 N. Detroit Street, Bellefontaine, Ohio.
The hearing is to consider an alley vacation request by Gary Bolyard, 1116 Milligan Road, representing Bellefontaine VFW Post 1080, 216 Orchard Ave., Bellefontaine for the alley running parallel to Henry Street and Detroit Street and north from Orchard Avenue to Grove. The property surrounding this alley is zoned R-2 One and Two Family Residence District.
A copy of the maps, description and other pertinent information are on file in the Office of the City Engineer in the Municipal Building, 135 N. Detroit St., Bellefontaine, Ohio for public examination Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm.
