Mayor David Crissman conducted a swearing-in ceremony today in Council Chambers amongst family and fellow BPD employees. Andrew Purk, a nine year veteran, and Aaron Long, a six year veteran, were promoted to the rank of sergeant. Jayde Sheeley was sworn in as an auxiliary officer and Zackary Sheeley was sworn in as the Bellefontaine Police Department's newest patrol officer.
