Jerry Pitzer
Council - Fourth Ward

Jerry Pitzer has been a resident of Bellefontaine for 38 years.  Elected to council in 2005. Jerry is a firm believer in giving back to the community.  Jerry has spent a large part of his personal time involved in local organizations.  He has been an active member of Elks Lodge #132 for 38 years.  American Legion Post committed to the work of the Logan County Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MRDD) for many years.  He was a member of the MRDD Board of Directors from 1991-2000 serving as Board President for two terms, currently he serves as a member of the RTC Board of Directors.  He is also a member of the Bellefontaine United Methodist Church.  A United States Army veteran, served as a military policeman.

Jerry has been married to his wife Hallie for 40 years.  They are the proud parents of two daughters, and have two granddaughters.
