The City of Bellefontaine, with a population of over 13,000, is a busy and beautiful small community that has a charisma all its own.  In Bellefontaine we look to combine the traditions of yesterday with the progress of today and tomorrow.  Bellefontaine is a city of knowledgeable and innovative people who come from all corners of the earth that are genuinely interested in what happens in their city and how it grows and prospers.  Our aim is to make all citizens and visitors feel that they are welcome in, and a part of, Bellefontaine. 

I am proud of Bellefontaine’s heritage and achievements. I look forward to building upon our past and forging ahead toward a better future for our city.  I believe that Bellefontaine is the ideal small city, large enough to provide excellent service but small enough to know and care about its citizens.  Bellefontaine is a place where friends and strangers alike are greeted with warmth by all.  Bellefontaine is the type of city where neighbors know each other and where we all work together to push Bellefontaine forward.  With our qualities, I believe that Bellefontaine is a terrific place to live, visit, work or play.
