Mary Rutan Park The Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Bellefontaine is known as the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District.  The Joint Recreation District was formed in 1984.  Our department maintains 159 acres of Park Land as well as providing recreational opportunities for the Citizens living within the Bellefontaine City School District.   The current Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District Board of Trustees are:   President - Ed Wallace Vice President - Fred Brentlinger Trustee - Karen Brady Trustee - Tammy Fowler Trustee - Trustee - Todd Skelly Trustee - Dennis Versele   The current regular meeting time for the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District Board of Trustees is the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Bellefontaine City Council Meeting Room.
